It seems that with more and more social media options people are quicker to talk about what they’re doing. To some extent this is great and it’s awesome that we can connect with each other so quickly these days. The one thing that gets old quick though is seeing people brag repeatedly about what they’re up to. Sure everyone wants to feel important but sometimes I wonder if people even realize how ridiculous they look.
I don’t know about you but when I put my mind to something, or do something, it’s because I’m doing for me. Even more important is the fact that nobody else is going to do the hard work for you so I just don’t see the point in screaming for attention for doing it. Celebrate yourself and what you do with a crazy happy dance, a meal you’ve been wanting or anything else that truly makes you happy.
Think about this for a sec…
Instead of bragging about what you’re up to how about spending that time in a much more productive way to accomplish your goals. The reality is that if you choose to spend your life trying to impress other people then you’ll never be done.
True happiness comes from inside so start focusing on doing the things that can make you happy. Trust me you’re worth it!
