Remember Why You Started

remember-why

A lot of times when we first start a project or start to chase a dream we’re full of energy and ambition. When the ‘real work’ kicks in though the real stress begins and starts to drain you from the things that got you going in the first place.

Being ambitious and chasing dreams certainly isn’t something everyone takes a chance to do BUT that doesn’t mean they don’t want to. Anytime you start something new there’s a risk that it won’t work out. Failure is enough for most people to look the other way and give in before they’ve even started.

If you’ve decided to go down the path of chasing this ‘thing’ then a BIG priority on your scale of things to do should be to remind yourself often why you started this process in the first place. You obviously felt something special about this ‘thing’ so there’s no reason you can’t remind yourself of this feeling from time to time.

You hear it often that it’s the journey and not the destination that most people end up remembering the most on their path to success. The one thing ALL of these success stories have in common is that quitting was never an option. Sure most people will think of quitting BUT the only way to fail 100% at something is to quit.

If success was easy we’d all be running around living our dream lives. What we want most isn’t easy but it is within your grasp if you want it enough and decide to never give up on yourself.

I’m still fighting my fight on a daily basis to get where I want to go but it’s the support and good vibes that keep me going forward to get over the ‘hump’ and over to the other side.

Part of why I do what I do, including my podcast, is to keep the good vibes flowing and to try and do my part to help others. Doing this has brought me so much in return AND I’ve seen so many people succeed along the way.

When you decide to put yourself around other people that want to do big things then you’re setting yourself up for success. Choose wisely and make it happen. Now it’s YOUR turn!
