When It Rains It Pours Ice Cream

When it rains it pours! Well sometimes things just don’t seem to go the way you’d like but life goes on. The thing about days like this is that it really all comes down to you and how you decide to look at things. Personally, I used to be incredibly negative when things felt like they were falling apart or ‘against me’ as I would say.
Well my friends when things like this happen do something nice for yourself! Today was a LONG non stop day of work and then tonight I was catching up on some business details and got some news I wasn’t expecting. This kind of stuff happens all the time but you never really get used to it because it’s unexpected and catches you off guard. After reflecting on my day and this news I decided I wanted some ice cream! Come along for the ride…
Good idea right? Come on a late night Dairy Queen run would pretty much cheer anyone up. Well then this happened…
The funny thing here is that even when I was trying to turn things around and share a positive message I still couldn’t win. A couple of years ago I would have been pissed and just called it quits. Well yeah that’s not who I am anymore so I laughed all the way over to the familiar ole McDonald’s and grabbed myself my milkshake. Yes, it was sooooo good!
Here’s a friendly reminder that no matter what’s going on you can always find a way to see the bright side in things. Keep on keepin’ on friends!
