I really like what this quote talks about and instantly knew that I wanted to feature it here. Everyone in the world has their own agenda, or a list of goals they want to accomplish, and to some this includes making money while others are focused on getting more and more material possessions.
It doesn’t matter what it is that you’re chasing you need to be willing to put in the work or otherwise you’re flying blind as people say. Now hard work is an admirable thing but if you’re willing to take an ‘any means possible’ approach then you might be missing out on some amazing opportunities.
There’s so much more to success than the end goal. It’s often been said that the journey is just as important, if not more, than the destination. The people that decide to go along for the ‘ride’ with you in chasing your goals are doing so because they believe in you and want to see good things happen.
What you’re doing might be important to you but keep a couple of things in mind so you don’t lose the ‘real you’ during the process…
Never forget why you started!
There was an initial passion and fun that you had in the beginning that made you want to get started in the first place. Always remember the why!
Burning bridges leaves everyone a loser
Don’t end up on the ‘other side’ standing by there by yourself. Success doesn’t mean much if you don’t have anyone to enjoy it with.
Good things can happen to everyone but it takes someone special to stay true to who you are on your path. If you’re looking for even more motivation don’t forget to connect with me over on Twitter by clicking here or by visiting over on the ole Facebook too. Good luck out there friends!
This quote was also featured on a recent episode of my show Plugged In. Click the image above to listen to my thoughts on why being kind will take you far!
