With this quote there really isn’t a whole lot to think about and that’s why it’s one of my favorites. At the end of the day things rarely ever happen the way they’re supposed to on your first try. The frustration, confusion or pure exhaustion are all signs that you’re doing something right. It sounds backwards but it really is true that the only way to succeed is to fail. I’ve put together a small list of things below that should help keep you focused on the prize you’re after.
-The more mistakes you make the closer you are to success. If you want to accomplish anything in life you’ve got to commit to it even if that means failing.
-As long as you are trying you are 50% further ahead than most. At least half of people never go beyond a thought or idea. Make it your mission today to not be one of those people.
-Highlight the wins. When you do stumble on something great or find a nugget of success celebrate it and cherish the moment. These are the moments that keep you on the right track so don’t ignore them.
-Surround yourself with success. Act like a magnet and attract the things you want from life.
-Enjoy the ride. If you don’t love the path then success won’t be as sweet. If the only happiness you’re after comes from accomplishing one big goal then your success, and happiness, will be short lived. It’s often been said that it’s the journey and not the destination that most people remember.
